A recipe for low carb cream cheese frosting great for icing, keto friendly desserts like carrot cake and cupcakes

Equipment

  • Coffee grinder (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Hand mixer (optional)
  • Rubber spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/3 cup Erythritol or Monk fruit powdered or granular
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves about a pinch

Instructions
 

  • If the sweetener you are using is granular and not powdered, then add it to a coffee grinder and grind until fine.
  • Add everything to mixing bowl and beat with electric hand mixer. You want it to look whipped and fluffy
  • That's it really. Now go make some cupcakes to put this on.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with the accent flavour (cloves) by trying out a different spice
